Yara is a character who appears in the Paris Games Week 2017 trailer for The Last of Us Part II. She is voiced and motion captured by Victoria Grace.

Biography

Background and early life

Not much is known about Yara's background or early life except that she is a survivor of the Cordyceps Brain Infection outbreak, and that she is Lev's older sister. Yara and her brother left Emily and the Seraphites prior to the events shown in the PGW 2017 Trailer.

Events of The Last of Us Part II

Yara appears alongside Lev and an unnamed woman as they fight against Emily and her two henchmen. Two men capture Yara and beat her left arm with a hammer. However, Lev comes to her aid, shooting one of the men with his bow, enabling Yara to use the hammer to kill the second man. After the unnamed woman helps her kill Emily, she orders Lev to cut her free from the rope. The three then prepare to combat oncoming Clickers, whom they refer to as "demons".
