Survival Skills are a gameplay mechanic in the Factions multiplayer mode of The Last of Us.

List of Survival SkillsEdit

At maximum, only 4 of these can be equipped at a time.

Pistol Auto-Zoom (1 / 2 LP)

  • Level 1 - Zoom in while aiming a 9mm, Revolver, Enforcer or Burst Pistol.
  • Level 2 - Zoom in further while aiming a 9mm, Revolver, Enforcer or Burst Pistol.

Explosion Expert (1 / 3 LP)

  • Level 1 -The radius of your explosives is 20% bigger, The radius of the Molotovs is 10% bigger.
  • Level 2 - The radius of your explosives is 40% bigger, The radius of the Molotovs is 20% bigger.

Reviver (1 / 3 / 4 LP)

  • Level 1 - Revive fallen teammates 30% faster and with 20% more health; without the perk, it takes roughly five seconds to revive a downed teammate.
  • Level 2 - Revive fallen teammates 45% faster, revive them with 25% more health, and get 25% more Parts from revives.
  • Level 3 - Revive fallen teammates 55% faster, revive them with 30% more health, and get 50% more Parts from revives.

Brawler (2 / 3 LP)

  • Level 1 - Craft modded weapons in half the time and gain 10 HP back with each melee hit.
  • Level 2 - Craft modded weapons in half the time and they have an additional hit, and gain 10 HP back with each melee hit.

Covert Training (2 / 4 / 5 LP)

  • Level 1 - Start with a shiv when you spawn.
  • Level 2 - You won't show up in the enemy's listen mode when crouch walking, and start with a shiv on each spawn.
  • Level 3 - You can't be marked, won't show up in the enemy's listen mode when crouch walking, and start with a shiv when you spawn. (HOWEVER, If a foe has Awareness, they CAN still see your nametag).

Sharp Ears (1 / 2 / 3 LP)

  • Level 1 - The listen mode meter regenerates 15% faster and you can listen for 20% longer.
  • Level 2 - The listen mode meter regenerates 30% faster, and stay in listen mode 20% longer.
  • Level 3 - Move quickly while in listen mode, enter listen mode more quickly, the meter regenerates 35% faster, and stay in listen mode 30% longer. (This combined with Agility's crouch-walking speed increase, will allow you to move very quickly while crouch-walking).

Strategist (1 / 4 / 5 LP)

  • Level 1 - Know when you've been marked. (With or without this perk, you can still hear the enemy yell, "Uniform!/Hey Tourist!/Firefly! Watch yourself!" if you're a Firefly or "Hunter/Straggler!" if you're a Hunter).
  • Level 2 - Know when you've been marked and see nearby enemies on the radar.
  • Level 3 - Know when you've been marked and see nearby enemies on the radar, and can choose an ally to respawn on. You will be able to respawn several seconds early. 

Hawk-eyed (2 / 3 / 4 LP)

  • Level 1 - Marking a foe lasts 3 seconds longer. Aim at an enemy and click R3 to mark.
  • Level 2 - Marks last 3 seconds longer and marked enemies glow. Aim at an enemy and click R3 to mark.
  • Level 3 - Marks last 3 seconds longer, marked enemies glow, and enemies within a short distance of your target are also marked. Aim at an enemy and click R3 to mark. (The Mark duration increase, Level 2's Mark Outlining and Levels 3's Radius Multi-marking will work too if the marking is activated by a attack while also having Damage Marker).

Crafter (2 / 4 / 6 LP)

  • Level 1 - Craft items 75% faster.
  • Level 2 - Craft items 75% faster and for every 3 items you craft, you will receive a giftbox. Equip this giftbox using the up d-pad and you can give it to an ally with R1.
  • Level 3 - Craft items 75% faster and for every 2 items you craft, you will receive a giftbox. Equip this giftbox using the up d-pad and you can give it to an ally with R1.

First-Aid Training (2 / 4 / 6 LP)

  • Level 1 - Use health kits 75% faster.
  • Level 2 - Use health kits 75% faster and can heal injured teammates. When looking at an injured teammate and you are adjacent to them, you can hold X to slowly heal them. 10 HP every 2 seconds.
  • Level 3 - Use health kits 75% faster and can heal injured teammates. When looking at an injured teammate and you are adjacent to them, you can hold X to slowly heal them. 20 HP every 2 seconds.

Sharpshooter (2 / 4 / 5 LP)

  • Level 1 - Scope sway is reduced by 25% and damage wobble reduced by 20%.
  • Level 2 - Scope sway is reduced by 37% and damage wobble reduced by 35%. Get 15 HP back for each headshot. 
  • Level 3 - Scope sway is reduced by 50% and damage wobble reduced by 65%. Get 25 HP back for each headshot. 

Marathon Runner (1 / 3 LP)

  • Level 1 - Sprint for 15% longer and sprint regenerates 15% faster.
  • Level 2 - Sprint for 30% longer and sprint regenerates 30% faster.

Collector (3 / 5 LP)

  • Level 1 - Increase the number of parts you earn by 10%.
  • Level 2 - Increase the number of parts you earn by 20%. (Neither levels affect parts earned from healing teammates or giving gift crafted items).

*Executioner (1 / 3 / 4 LP)

  • Level 1 - Earn double the parts for shiv kills.
  • Level 2 - Earn 50% more parts for special executions or interrogations, double the parts for shiv kills and get 1 extra shiv use every time you craft a shiv.
  • Level 3 - Earn double the parts for special executions or interrogations, double the parts for shiv kills and get 2 extra shiv uses every time you craft a shiv.

*Scavenger  (2 / 4 / 5 LP)

  • Level 1 - Enemies drop 50% more ammo.
  • Level 2 - Automatically pick up ammo and supplies from kills and enemies drop double the ammo.
  • Level 3 - Enemies sometimes drop a random crafting item, and automatically pick up ammo and supplies from kills and enemies drop double the ammo.

*Damage Marker (2 / 4 LP)

  • Level 1 - Any damages dealt marks the target who receives the damage. (Marking from damage will proc effects from Hawk-eyed assuming you have it equipped).
  • Level 2 - Earn double the parts for marking and any damages dealt marks the target who receives the damage. (Combined with Hawk-eyed 3, they can quickly build you a very big amount of Parts if the enemy team is always grouped).

*Awareness (1 / 3 LP)

  • Level 1 - Enemy nametags remain on screen for 5 seconds when you take damage.
  • Level 2 -  Enemy nametags appear on screen at twice the normal distance and remain on screen when you take damage for 10 seconds. (Both Awareness levels CAN spot foes with Covert Training 3).

*Fortitude (1 / 3 LP)

  • Level 1 - Bleed out time is increased by 25%, slightly increases downed crawling speed and earn 25 Parts after healing more than half health
  • Level 2 - Start with a health pack. Earn 50 parts after healing more than half health and carry up to 4 Health Kits. Downed health is increased and bleed out time is increased by 50% along with much faster downed crawling speed.

*Gunslinger (2 / 4 LP)

  • Level 1 - Pistol ammo is increased by 50% at spawn (This does not stack with weapon upgrades).
  • Level 2 - Pistol ammo is doubled at spawn (This does not stack with weapon upgrades).

*Bomb Expert (2 / 3 / 5 LP)

  • Level 1 - Smoke bombs have a very short fuse.
  • Level 2 - Placed bombs, thrown smoke bombs and bombs have an even shorter fuse.
  • Level 3 - You are immune to the stun of your own smoke bombs. Placed bombs, thrown smoke bombs and bombs have a very short fuse.

*Agility (2 / 4 LP)

  • Level 1 - Crouch walk very quickly.
  • Level 2 - You are nearly impossible to hear while moving. Walk, climb and crouch walk very quickly. (Both levels crouch-walking speed increase STACKS up with Sharp Ears 3's increased crouch-walking speed while in Listen mode, allow you to move very quickly while in Listen Mode).

*Lone Wolf (2 / 3 LP) NOTE: Activates when you are away from partners or they are downed.

  • Level 1 - Receive Agility 2, Sharpshooter 2 and earn 30 bonus Parts when you down/execute a foe.
  • Level 2 - Receive Agility 2, Sharpshooter 2, Sharp Ears 3 and earn 60 bonus Parts when you down/execute a foe.

*Second Chance (1 / 3 LP)

  • Level 1 - Receive a Health Kit when you have none and have less than 50% HP, also, Get 25% additional ammo after dying twice without downing/executing (Additional ammo effects can stack twice [4 Deaths without downing/executing], 50% Addi. Ammo MAX).
  • Level 2 - Receive a Health Kit when you have none and have less than 50% HP, also, Get 50% additional ammo and 25% cheaper armor after dying twice without downing/executing (Additional Ammo and Reduced Armor cost can stack twice [4 Deaths without downing/executing] Addi Ammo MAX is 100% and armor cost reduction MAX is 50%).

*Jack of All Trades (5 / 10 LP)

  • Level 1 - Contains Brawler 1, Covert Training 1, Sharp Ears 1, Strategist 1 and Crafter 1 (8 LP total).
  • Level 2 - Contains Explosion Expert 1, Reviver 1, Brawler 1, Covert Training 1, Sharp Ears 1, Strategist 1, Crafter 1, First Aid Training 1, Scavenger 1 and Second Chance 1 (16 LP total).

*Lucky Break (2 / 4 / 5 LP)

  • Level 1 - Upon opening a Supply box, receive 50% extra Pistol ammo.
  • Level 2 - Upon opening a Supply box, receive 50% extra Pistol ammo, 25% extra Long Gun ammo and a minimum of 2 Crafting ingredients.
  • Level 3 - Upon opening a Supply box, receive 50% extra Pistol ammo, 25% extra Long Gun ammo and a minimum of 3 Crafting ingredients (Does not prevent craft items to be repeated).

*Lethal Efficiency (2 / 3 LP)

  • Level 1 - Do a faster, low-to-the-ground neck-snap that replaces Special Executions, keeping you at a low altitude while doing a Special Execution.
  • Level 2 - Do a even faster, low-to-the-ground neck-snap that replaces Special Executions, keeping you at a low altitude while doing a Special Execution.
