Hello once again!
I want to propose the idea that we have a headline at the top of Lev Benioff's page saying "You may also be looking for The Last of Us Part II character, Lev." and vice versa. It would heavily avoid confusion as many TLOUP2 fans will look to this wikia ahead of the release of the second game. :D
Well, I'm not a part of that wiki so I can't speak on behalf of them. Uncharted content has been stale too - much like ours until recently. Some editors just need new content to come out to regain the drive to edit at a wiki again.
I initially wasn't, but a user began changing them. So to avoid unneeded squabbling (and the hassle or re-adding removed categories/deleting the new ones, overhauling 8 hours worth of edits) I've gone ahead and removed the lower cases and cleaned up the ones that were left unchanged.
Just comes out neater this way plus it is a fair point - grammatically, the capitalisations are unneeded so it is better to change them from that perspective. A minor thing, but a welcome change none the less.
If you feel differently, feel free to open a discussion on the forums to see if others feel likewise. Some that be the case, I'll happily change them back.
by the way, whats with the non cannon thing? i have not seen any last of us media that gives her last name as williams or Joel's as miller. Im not disputing it, i simply want to see it! lol
EDIT while i have your attention I wanted to say something about Robert, it says in his info that he is late 40s early 50s, has this been confirmed? Because he looks quite younger than Joel despite the claims they are around the same age. I personally would say he is late 30s to early mid 40s. What do you think?
Hey there, I've went and added the source to Ellie's page.
The non-canon matter is because it is not officially sanctioned as her name in American Naughty Dog media. We only have the name from unofficial box art in Japan. If you are able to find an official source, by all means open a discussion on the talk page to discuss if it can be made official or not.
Regarding the age dilemma, I'm not the best to ask for that question - I was not here when the ages of the characters was settled upon. For that, I advise you ask @M67, or @NFG.
Thanks for your recent edits, although I advise you keep things light in the edit summaries - they are meant to summarize what your edit was, not for you to make informal comments (even if they are about yourself). Also, be sure to thoroughly read/preview the article before editing to avoid making edits you subsequently undo because the information you've added was already present elsewhere on the page.
Regardless, good job so far, welcome to the wiki! Thanks again! :D
I wanted to add information to Dina's page after today's panel at E3 with Neil, Ashley, Shannon and co.
Unfortunately, I'm still new to the wiki and don't quite know how to add references to the page. The reference in question is a video. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-Y-ApSFFEc). Would you be able to add it to the page for me?
That's all good. It proves the fact for viewers nicely. Naturally, if an better quality video can be found (or one directly from Naughty Dog/better verifiable source, it will replace that video as the given source.
Fell free to add the fact to the page. Myself and other staff members will proofread as necessary.
Can I create a page for "Fists" as in Joel's hand to hand combat?
I was thinking it could use a page since it's what Joel uses when square is pushed and no melee weapon is present. Also it does the least amount of damage and is listed as a weapon under Joel's weapons on his page.
Nothing is wrong with your editing, you're doing great. What I did was cleaning up/proofreading the page, meaning I removed things that are either tenously linked to the page (thereby shouldn't really be there) or are blatant speculation.
For instance, the 70 Hunters thing is a rather subjective line. The Hunter says "The 76 lookout guys". The line itself could be taken to mean the road they were monitoring, a designated sector name or (as you interpreted it) the number of people Joel and Ellie killed. For such a point that holds so many interpretations and cannot be stated as clear fact, we cannot have those sorts of things here - we are a wikia so we need solid facts; anything debatable won't do outside forum discussions.
I've been meaning to make a speculation policy for sometime, but life gets in the way of such things.
