Related Dialogue

Upon exiting the sewers, Ellie will ask about the state of the area, to which Tess will respond with a summary of what the leaflet describes. Finding the artifact is not necessary to hear the dialogue.

Ellie: So, what happened here?
Tess: They bombed the hell out of the surrounding areas to the quarantine zones, hoping to kill as much of the infected as possible.
It worked, for a little while.

Trivia

  • The bomb silhouettes are remarkably simliar to the Mk. 77 napalm bombs used by the United States Air Force in Vietnam.
  • The texture on the leaflet itself reads "Bombinb" where it should read "Bombing".
