Level 1 (2 loadout points) - Craft modded weapons in half the time and gain 10 HP back with each melee hit.
Level 2 (3 loadout points) - Craft modded weapons in half the time and they have an additional hit, and gain 10 HP back with each melee hit.
Brawler increases users' survivability in melee combat. 10 HP per hit may not sound like much, but it guarantees victory in a fistfight against a player without brawler as it lets the user take a couple more hits. Crafting modded weapons in half the time stacks with Crafter, which may help the user out in a pinch where enemies are nearby. Brawler 2 grants the user an additional extra hit with a modded weapon, which is very potent considering how modded 2x4s down enemies in one hit. Both versions of Brawler's bonuses are also conveyed upon Machetes, and are especially useful as the machete's fast attacking speed work with Brawler's health regeneration to make the user very hard to down in a melee.
Brawler's benefits extend beyond punching, using 2x4s, and machetes. Kicking downed enemies, special executions, and shivving also regenerate hitpoints.
