Brandon Scott is an American actor who provides the English voice for Henry in The Last of Us. It is believed he recovered the role due to his audition being different to the other candidates. Neil Druckmann has said that Scott was selected due to the "subtlety in how he portrayed Henry. Whereas most auditionees entered a fit of rage when confronting Joel about his remark on "dragging Sam halfway across the country", Scott was more reserved, making the scene much more powerful". They also liked how quickly he could change the dynamic of his character, going from almost a salesman persona of "everything's good now" to a confident and independent survivor when shoved down by Joel.
